Sung Jun Han

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Philosophy at Vanderbilt University. My dissertation on what I call Madisonian Lottocracy is advised by Robert Talisse, Michael Hodges, Scott Aikin, Jacob Barrett, and Alexander Guerrero.

My research interests lie, broadly speaking, in social and political philosophy and AI. More specifically, I work on democratic theories and the intersection between AI and political philosophy.

Though my first name is Sung Jun, you can call me Jun (pronounced 'Joon' or 'June'). I was born and raised in South Korea, where I lived for 25 years before moving to Canada, where I became a naturalized Canadian.
